New Medical Clinic Expansion

Since the initial visit of Jubilee Village Team #1, work to improve the area’s access to adequate medical facilities has been a major priority. While traditional native medical herbs and remedy’s still dominate the village customs and culture, modern medical healthcare practices have a growing acceptance by people of the region. Since its construction nearly 15 years ago, the small 5 room medical dispensary has served as the only local medical facility serving a wide area with nearly 4,000 people.

They have gathered of the needed medical equipment, furniture and surgical instruments to transform the new structure into a fully functional medical clinic with the capacity for providing: Lab Services; Minor Surgery; Labor/Delivery; Dentistry; Pharmacy; staff offices and covered waiting area.
